A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.
— Annie Leibovitz
I have been a dancer almost as long as I could walk. I love the feeling of motion. I think it propels us forward in life, and not just physically. Love and relationships are motion and energy, moving toward trust and understanding.
Photography has always been about capturing motion for me. I love to see the way couples move together: how he gently moves her hair out of her face. How she looks up at him and unconsciously wraps her pinky in his. How they rest their heads together as soon as they take a seat. These cues are love in motion, and it’s my job to notice and document them.
I love to help my couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. My goal is to provide an environment of comfort and ease, both when being photographed and as we hang out throughout your day. It’s such an action-filled event that I try to make your time with me the best portion of the day. You get to take a minute, look each other in the eyes, breathe each other in, and enjoy your marriage for the first time.
Enough of the ooey gooey lovey dovey stuff
but ooooooh nelly do I love it.
Here is somethin' somethin' about me, in list form because we all love a good list.
Everyone loves lists so I am going to break it down for ya pretty easily.
LIKES: food in bowls, my daughter, black coffee, day drinking champagne, whiskey, noodles of all sorts, the smell of dirt, cinnamon rolls, rooms that are 75 degrees or warmer, snuggles, hot yoga, couples who aren't afraid to get messy, authentic moments, Indiana Jones type of hats, appetizers.
DISLIKES: whales, tornados, semi trucks, country music, cold environments (why do I live in the midwest?), traditional anything, loud chewing, wine (I only like the bubbly), people who are late, food on plates.
